« Wind Generator Installations
Stampede Crane & Rigging Inc. in partnership with CMS Heavy Lift was the crane company of choice for installing the wind powered generators at the Fort McCloud/Soder Glen wind farm project.
In total 30-1.5 mega watt General Electric turbines were installed in just three months.
These wind generation towers had a vertical reach of 65 meters (213'3") and a rotation diameter of 77 meters (252' 8").
To make this project happen we used a Liebherr LR 1400-1 crawler crane as well as wide variety of our mobile and rough terrain cranes.
